Travel company Thread Caravan hosts artisan adventures around the world, connecting travelers to the makers. For the launch of their first trip in August 2015, we partnered on a multi-faceted marketing campaign to promote their weeklong weaving workshop in Guatemala.
We created innovative content ranging from advertisement design to documentary-style coverage applied seamlessly across print, digital and social media platforms that developed Thread Caravan’s presence within the independent travel market.
Prior to the trip, we devised a digital marketing strategy to promote and launch Thread Caravan’s excursion on Instagram making it accessible to the majestic disorder community.
Actively connecting and aligning the ethos of our majestic disorder community with Thread Caravan, we achieved 100 percent of ticket bookings through our network.
For majestic disorder issue 6, we produced detailed editorial and engaging visuals of our trip in addition to illustrating Thread Caravan’s position as an ethically and socially responsible travel company.
Daily activities were additionally documented during the trip and published on majestic disorder’s various social media channels crafting an online narrative that increased Thread Caravan’s exposure and community engagement.
